Required documents for acceptance of a new World Record by IUTA

  1. Official measurement of swimming, cycling and running distance of the race, approved by IUTA representative present at the race
  2. Official documents of lap counting of the athlete
  3. Doping control result of the athlete, done after the race for any new world record request. The doping control has to be made by a official WADA certified Institute and has to be addressed to the IUTA.
  4. Letter of the organizer with documents mentioned in a), b) and c) with official request of acceptance


Procedure for acceptance by IUTA

  1. The documents mentioned under a) to d) have to be sent postal to the IUTA
  2. The IUTA committee will verify the documents and make the decissionto accept or not accept the request
  3. Official acceptance as new World record by IUTA will be given by the President of the IUTA
  4. The new World Record will be published in the IUTA website and communicated to all organizers
